Talia is a Parisian rock band.
Nicolas Costa’s warm and gravelly voice, Arnaud Herge’s energetic drums, and Lhas’s inspired bass had allowed this dynamic trio to logically establish themselves as one of the most promising bands on the French rock scene. Talia follows the footsteps of the 90’s bands like Hole, minus the lipstick. Always raw and giving the impression that everything is about to shift at any moment, their music suits their image: nervous.
They were unanimously acclaimed in the rock music press in 2008 with their debut album “Cockroach Killer” and then with the followings: “Permanent Midlife Crisis” (2013), “Thugs They Look Like Angels” (2015) and “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie” (2018) recorded by Steve Albini.
The trio roamed the other side of the Atlantic and opened for bands like Smile Empty Soul, Flaw, Tantric, Wayland, LA Guns or Soul Asylum.
