Divine Paiste is a pop-rock quartet founded by Pierre-Yves on vocals, Paul on the guitar, Pierre on the bass and keys and Sébastien on drums.
These four singers-songwriters originated from Tours delivered several EPs and roamed local stages before a debut and unique album “Crystal Waves on a Frozen Lake”.
This album was at first a scenario which became a medium-length movie and then two music videos for the singles “Dust in the Wild” and “Boreal”.
As a guiding thread, this scenario acted as a base for composition, mixing caressing melodies and rougher sounds. The whole resulted in a bewitching music shaped by the band after an immersion in Corrèze and its wild open spaces.
This album shares some indie tracks influenced by new-wave for undeniably dancing tracks, somewhere between the likes of Two Door Cinema Club or Foals.
